"I've never had a bad meal from Chucks on North. My go-to is the homemade baked Lasagna, made by Chuck himself. An overly generous serving (lasts me two meals) of noodles, meat, ricotta, mozzarella and the *best* sauce is was served with a side of a Costanza's garlic bread. Their wings are good, not too saucy, pizza is divine, and their sub offerings are quite diverse. Hot subs, cold subs, you can't miss. My favorites are Steak in the grass (steak, spinach, provolone on garlic bread), & the SubPrano (chopped Italian sausage, steak w/ onions, peppers % mushrooms on garlic bread baked with provolone. They also offer pizza/wing combo packs, lunch specials every day and really nice salads. Really like their Steak Salad. Reasonable prices, friendly staff. Large dining area, very clean. Counter service. On North Street between Main & Linwood."

"Tried this little joint for the first time years ago when I was working on an album at a recording studio a few blocks from here. That particular day, I remember I got a turkey sub and it was delicious! I went there for the first time since, a few days ago and I was blown away by the renovations in the dining area and how delicious the food was! I personally got a beef on weck sub and my buddy got a chicken finger sub with some cannolis for dessert! 5 stars baby! The dining area is adorable and has plenty of room to sit, with some TVs to entertain while enjoying your lunch break. A great Buffalo location with great Buffalo food!"

"I've been going here for years. Never had a bad experience. They are, by far, the best place in buffalo to get Chicken Finger Subs. We tried to find a second best place, but each time I keep coming back. I have so many wonderful stories of how wonderful and generous and amazing the staff is. Whenever I'm anywhere near the area, I always stop in. They are my favorite. Highly recommend any of their subs and pizza."

"I've been going to Chucks since I was in my young teens, I always stop going for some reason but then I end up going again. The customer service is always great, I may have only had 1 bad experience there in regards to a worker but other than that it has always been good. I went recently to meet one of my good friends for lunch while she was on her lunch break, while waiting for her to arrive I had a chance to grab a pic of the menu for us. I ordered a steak taco (large)with everything and my friend ordered a lunch special which included any 1/2 sub with a side (French fries, onion rings or soup-I believe those were the options), she chose onion rings and a pop. The food was ready in no time (10 mins tops) and we sat in the dining area to eat. My taco was very juicy and I could taste every ingredient on it, the meat was tender and seasoned well. I did taste my friend onion rings and they were very good as well. She had no complaints about her steak sub and she said she would return."

"It's a very nice neighborhood pizza place. Called Chucks North Street. We got subs, very good. Prices are good also. The meat on the subs was plentiful. We got 1/2 subs with fries. It was our first time here and will definitely be back. Also want to add that there is more seating in the restaurant side room."

"My co-worker treated me to lunch here and told me it was great. He was right! When it comes to Buffalo-Style Pizza, I expect 1) Good Crust 2) Good Sauce and 3) Lots of cheese. Chuck delivered on all counts, this is Buffalo Pizza at its best. Cup and Char pepperoni on top but not overdone so as to deprive you of the enjoyment of the cheese, sauce, and crust. We had the lunch special of two slices and pop which was very reasonable."

"The staff are friendly and the food is good and inexpensive. I usually get the meal special which includes a half sub, bottled beverage, and a side such as French Fries and/or Onion Rings, all for $8. The parking lot is a little tight, but there is ample seating inside with two dining rooms."
